Montageproces van geïsoleerd glas
The assembly process of insulated glass is a key step in assembling pretreated glass and spacer bars into a hollow cavity structure, with the core being to ensure sealing and dryness of the cavity.
First, clean and dry the glass after cutting and edge grinding (free of oil stains and water marks). Meanwhile, bend spacer bars (such as aluminum bars) into shape, fill their interior with desiccants (to absorb moisture), and evenly apply butyl rubber on both sides (the first seal to ensure air tightness).
Subsequently, place the spacer bars at the designed position on the edge of one piece of glass. After alignment and positioning, cover the other piece of glass parallelly over the spacer bars, ensuring the edge deviation between the two pieces of glass is ≤1mm, thus forming a closed hollow cavity.
Finally, pressurize to make the glass and spacer bars fit tightly, expel air from the edge of the cavity, allowing the butyl rubber to fully bond and seal. Check the parallelism, size and absence of obvious misalignment of the assembled glass, then apply the second sealant (such as polysulfide sealant or silicone sealant).
